Upgrade, downgrade or switch between monthly and annual. What happens to your data and your card.
You can change your plan at any time from Settings → Subscription. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Switching between monthly and annual works the same way.
For mid-cycle upgrades, we prorate: you're charged the difference between your current plan and the new one for the days remaining in your billing period. The next invoice will be at the new full rate.
No data is deleted on downgrade. The only effect is that anything exceeding the new plan's limits becomes read-only:
Re-upgrading restores full access to everything within an hour, no data loss.
Same plan, different cadence: click Switch to annual (or Switch to monthly) on the current plan card. Annual saves 20% so the immediate effect of switching mid-cycle is a credit applied to your next invoice (annual) or a higher rate (monthly).
On any paid plan card, click Cancel subscription at the bottom. We confirm once, then queue the cancellation for the end of the billing period. You drop to the Free tier at that point – no data loss, just reduced limits.
All paid plan changes go through Stripe Checkout so card details stay in Stripe's vault. We never see or store your card. The redirect happens automatically when you click the upgrade button.
Annual plans get a prorated refund on the unused portion if you cancel within the first 60 days. After 60 days we credit the remainder against any future plan rather than refunding cash. Monthly plans run to the end of the current month with no refund.
