Add colleagues to your workspace with one of four role levels – owner, admin, editor or viewer.
Every SEMOptimiser plan includes team seats. You add people from Settings → Team. Each member gets one of four roles that controls what they can see and do in the workspace.
| Owner | Full control. Can transfer ownership, change billing, delete the workspace. There is exactly one owner per workspace. |
| Admin | Everything owners can do except change billing or delete the workspace. Suitable for senior team members. |
| Editor | Can run audits, deploy fixes and edit data, but cannot invite members or change integrations. Suitable for most users. |
| Viewer | Read-only access. Can see audits, rankings and reports but cannot edit anything. Suitable for clients or stakeholders. |
In Settings → Team, find the member and pick a new role from the dropdown next to their name. The change takes effect immediately – they don't need to log out and back in.
Click the Remove button next to the member. They lose access immediately but their user account still exists – they just no longer belong to your workspace. Owners cannot be removed; you must transfer ownership first.
| Free | 1 seat (you). |
| Marketing | 3 seats. |
| Management | 10 seats. |
| CEO | Unlimited seats + multi-user team access. |
If you hit the seat limit, the Invite member button shows an upgrade prompt. You can upgrade in Settings → Subscription.
Yes. Their primary workspace shows up by default; they can switch between workspaces from the workspace picker (coming soon – currently they need to log out and back in).
No. The invite creates a placeholder account they can claim via the email link. They can choose to set a password or sign in with Google when they accept.
Nothing they created in your workspace is deleted (audits, rankings, fixes). Their personal account and any other workspaces they belong to are untouched.
