Create your account

Creating a SEMOptimiser account takes about ninety seconds. You can use a work email and a password, or sign in with Google in one click. Everything below also applies if you were invited to a teammate's workspace – the only difference is that the join step happens automatically when you accept the invite link.

Sign up with email

1. Go to semoptimiser.com and click Sign Up Free in the top-right corner.
2. Enter your full name, work email and a password that is at least eight characters long.
3. Click Create account. We immediately drop you into the dashboard – no email verification step is required to start auditing.
4. You'll see a 14-day free trial banner at the top. During the trial you have full access to every paid feature.

Sign up with Google

Google sign-in is the fastest path. Click the Continue with Google button on the signup page, pick your account from the popup, and you're in. We store only your name, email address and avatar – never your password.

What happens behind the scenes

When you sign up we create three things: your user record, a personal workspace ("organization") owned by you, and a 14-day trial timer. The workspace is what holds your sites, audits, rank-tracking keywords and team members. You can rename it later in Settings → Team.

After signup

• Add your first site under Audits → New audit, or paste a URL in the dashboard hero.
• Connect Google Search Console and Google Analytics from Settings → Integrations to pull in real search and traffic data.
• Invite teammates from Settings → Team – every plan includes at least one extra seat.

Common signup issues

"An account with this email already exists"

You (or someone) signed up with that email before. Use Sign In instead, or click Forgot password to reset. If you tried to sign in with Google and saw the same message, that usually means you originally signed up with a password – sign in with the password first, then link your Google account from Settings → Profile.

Password rejected as too short

We require a minimum of eight characters. There is no max length or character requirement, but a passphrase like four-random-words is much stronger than a single word with symbols. Use a password manager if you can.

"Too many attempts. Please wait 15 minutes."

Our rate limiter throttles signups from a single IP to ten per hour. This rarely affects real users but can trip on shared office NAT setups. Wait an hour and retry, or sign up from a different network.

Privacy and data

Your email and name are visible only to you and any teammates you invite. We never share your account data with third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy. You can export everything or delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile.
