Pull GA4 sessions, conversions and user flows into SEMOptimiser. Five-minute setup.
Connecting Google Analytics overlays real traffic and conversion data on top of your SEO audits and rank tracking. You get to see whether the keywords you track actually drive sessions and conversions – not just rankings in a vacuum.
Once connected, three new views appear:
After the initial 28-day backfill, we sync incrementally every six hours. You can trigger a manual re-sync from the integration's Manage panel. Data lag is typically 1-3 hours behind GA4 itself.
Each site in your workspace can be paired with a different GA4 property. Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics → Manage to map them. We don't auto-pair because property names often don't match domain names cleanly.
You authorized with a Google account that doesn't have access to any GA4 property. Sign out of all Google accounts, sign in with the right one, then retry.
Very large properties (50M+ events/month) can hit GA4 API quotas during the initial sync. We retry automatically with backoff; usually it self-resolves within an hour.
Two common reasons: time zone mismatch (we use your workspace timezone, GA4 uses property timezone) and filtered conversions. We strip auto-flagged first_visit events from conversion counts; GA4 includes them. The Settings → Subscription → "Filtered conversion attribution" toggle controls this.
Go to Settings → Integrations → Google Analytics → Disconnect. We delete the OAuth token immediately and stop syncing within 10 minutes. Historical data we already synced stays in our database – disconnect doesn't purge it. To purge, contact support.
One platform. Five fewer subscriptions.
